Colleen & Peter

Peter and Colleen's love story began when they met at work in 2006, and after dating for many years they got engaged in the spring of 2011. Colleen always wanted a fall wedding, but not in a traditional fall theme so they settled on November 2012.
Colleen wanted an elegant and classic look. She chose to use her favorite color of pink and to honor her only brother who passed away when she was younger she added in his favorite color gray. The pink and gray were a perfect combination for her vintage look and gave so much meaning to the affair. We complimented her vision with a mix of pale pink textures and soft cream hues. Garden roses, spray roses, football mums, and gray brunia were the stars. Colleen's bouquet was completed with a vintage locket with her brother's photo so he could be with her every step of the way.
"Every bride has a favorite part of planning her wedding, for me, it was the flowers. I have always loved flowers and couldn't wait to be surrounded by them. I had seen many of Bella Flora's designs and I knew they would be able to capture my style perfectly. Although many of my favorite flowers were out of season, Alexis offered ideas for substitutions and I was so impressed with her knowledge of flowers. Bella Flora created arrangements that were truly the most beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen and that my guests and family still talk about to this day. Thank you Alexis for listening to what we wanted and making our perfectly pink vision come to life!"
